At home with Richard Hughes

The Champion Jockey has already bagged his first British Classic this season, aboard Sky Lantern in the QIPCO 1000 Guineas, and we went to visit him to discuss his aims for the rest of the year and to see how he relaxes away from the track.
Champion Jockey Richard Hughes has already enjoyed a great start to the current Flat season, landing his first ever British Classic at the start of the month aboard Sky Lantern in the QIPCO 1000 Guineas. Hughes has plenty more to look forward to for the rest of the year as principal rider for the powerful Richard Hannon stable and we recently visited him at his home to speak to him.
Aly Rowell chats to him and his wife, Lizzie, daughter of Richard Hannon, about being Champion, his aims for this season and how he relaxes away from the racetrack. With Epsom coming up next weekend, the leading Series star also interestingly says that, "my ambition is to win the Derby".
