Lesstalk In Paris has had a few ups and downs during a relatively short racing career.
She made a winning racecourse debut at Deauville in August 2013 and a month later proved her class with a brilliant triumph in the Group 3 Prix d’Aumale, overcoming severe traffic problems to score by three quarters of a length.
She probably deserved to be the unbeaten French Champion juvenile filly of 2013 but was given an overly aggressive front-running ride in the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac and, having looked the likely winner, was mown down late by Indonesienne.
In complete contrast, she began her three-year-old campaign with an easy victory in a ridiculously slowly-run Group 3 Prix de la Grotte at Longchamp on April 13th 2014.
She then posted her one and only poor performance to date, finishing 12th of 16 in the French equivalent of the 1000 Guineas, the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches on May 11th.
But she redeemed her tarnished reputation in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot six weeks later, staying on strongly in the closing stages to find only Rizeena too good for her.
She then suffered an injury and died.
