Music Master is a giant of a horse, that is the reason why it has taken him almost until the end of his four-year-old season to start fulfilling his true potential.

Fourth on his only outing as a two-year-old, he landed a Newmarket maiden on his reappearance the following season but then failed to get his head in front during four more 2013 starts, albeit running some good races in defeat, not least when second to Tropics in the Group 3 Bengough Stakes at Ascot in October.

His 2014 campaign began in fine style, with a win at Warwick in late April, and less than two months later he featured in a QIPCO British Champions Series race for the first time, taking fourth place behind Slade Power in the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot.

A first Group Race win followed, in the Group 3 Hackwood Stakes at Newbury, and though he was forced to miss the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes because of a minor ailment, he recovered in time to post a career best performance in the Betfred Sprint Cup, finishing third behind G Force.
